The Seven Rila lakes are located high in Rila mountain in Bulgaria. With their crystal clear waters they are the most visited natural site in the country.

7 Rila lakes are easily reachable from Sofia city by car , shuttle bus or public transport. Several hiking routes of medium difficulty allow to explore the 7 lakes in 1 day.
There are also several options for accommodation around the lakes area if you prefer to stay overnight in the mountain.
